I think its about a couple that loves each other but can't find a way to be together, & that has broken up more than once.
I love this song... I think it's about his feelings for someone he used to be with, but he can't find a way to be with her, maybe she doesn't feel the same way anymore, or has found someone new. There could have been something he did, or he was always gone for why they broke up. He knows he needs to move one, but he can't seem to find the will. He really misses her, and he's so tired of feeling this way, but his desire for her just keeps growing.

Zutheena just pretty much summed up what I'm feeling right now, and basically what the song is about. In a nutshell, it's awesome but considering sad memories are brought back when I listen to it, I get really depressed lol
I love this song yet hate it at the same time Being a big fan of bullet for my valentine and having similar feelings this song is obviously about missing someone. In Matt Tucks case, his wife- its not easy for him travelling and going on tour(the road) knowing he has to say goodbye again "Im sick of these goodbyes," and at this time he is lonely and misses her basically he cant cope. anyone who knows the feeling of not being able to be the one they love because of distance will understand, i do thats why i also hate it because i can relate to it too much
