Time Trials Lyrics

Taking me from the inside out breaking me down without a doubt. I try to find freedom in the simplest of things. But something seems to grab a hold of me it fuels my rage, it feeds my hate as I lay down and wait for someone to lift me up. A person that's yet to come pushing to surrender myself giving up all of my hope a martyr to the common man lost in the desert sands. My throat so dry I cannot speak as these time trials continue to compromise me. A list of all promises I couldn't keep continuing to fall into a deeper sleep. A cold sweat wakes me up again leading me right back to where I had begun. I can only say these time trials won't define me.
