Your Love Is Extravagant Lyrics

Your love is extravagant
Your friendship, it is intimate
I feel I'm moving to the rhythm of Your grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating in the secret place
Cause Your love is extravagant

Spread wide in the arms of Christ there's a love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known; You considered me a friend
Capture my heart again

Your love is extravagant
Your friendship, it is intimate
I feel I'm moving to the rhythm of Your grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating in the secret place
Your love is extravagant

Spread wide in the arms of Christ there's a love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known; You considered me a friend
Spread wide in the arms of Christ there's a love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known; You considered me a friend
Capture my heart again

Your love is extravagant
Your friendship, it is intimate

I disagree. I think it's a close minded way of thinking that songs with Jesus would be better substituted for a significant other and vice versa.

A song is written for a reason, and there is no reason to change anything about it.

I agree with jordaned. If it means something to him thats why he wrote about it in the first place.

As with most songs about mentioning Jesus, it would be better if it was associated with a girl (/ significant other).

My Opinion

Why? because you like it better? last time i checked, you have the right to go start your own band and right your own lyrics. Aaron is a Christian so as a Christian, he loves Christ. Why would he hide that just cause other's don't like it?

First of all, Shazaam - what an ignorant comment. Songs are generally better when they mean something to the person who wrote it or performs it, not to a fan they don't even know.

Second, this is a cover song. I'm pretty sure it was written by Casting Crowns, and it is a praise and worship song.

It was actually written by Darrell Evans. There are many covers of the song including the one by Casting Crowns.
