In Your Arms Lyrics

Well I,
I used to walk down to the bar,
So I didn't have to drive back home.
Well I,
Always thought it would be nice,
If I didn't come back alone.

Now there's one place that I would long to be,
It's in your arms.

And we,
We sit in your car.
With dead car battery.
And I,
Wish help would never come, might ruin everything.

There is one place that I would long to be,
It's in your arms.

Now there's one place that I still long to be,
It's watching you, watching over me.
And there's one place, one place I still long to be,
It's in your arms.

There is one place that I would long to be.

I think this song is simply about a guy who was lonely, "I always thought it would be nice if I didn't come back alone". Then he found someone he loves, "There is one place that I would long to be, It's in your arms." No it seems that they are separated for whatever reason, "It's watching you, watching over me." Although they could still be together, it's sort of ambiguous.

Fantastic song though.
