I think this songs about someone's messed up childhood. It's actually really reminiscent of "A Child Called It".

This part is about the child getting physically abused, and his trying to justify it with a child's mentality.

Left my world, left me alone Locked inside, it becomes my home Inside a hole, buried like a bone I'm sure you had your reasons.

This part is about him being cast aside in the family, and how a child becomes introverted when suffering physical and mental abuse. Or about literally being locked away like in a basement. And again justifying or it could be retrospective sarcasm.

This part is about how he didn't believe it was wrong, what was happening to him so he put up with it. And now later in life, the effects of it have caused him to feel alone and separated from everyone, perhaps because he cant trust anyone now.

I'm pretty sure this song is about how a person's actions (specifically them leaving, or just being gone) has affected the singer.

That's the general feeling I'm getting anyway. I may try to come back and break it down line by line - I might learn something else about it.

Good song, Cud sounds both depressed and angry at the person who's affected him this way. Loving this new CD, its growing on me.
