I think this song is about a girl and a guy who are in love. It's pretty obvious. Well, DUH.
Now... off to My Chemical Romance.
this song is about how this couple are breaking up and they both know it. but the guy is saying how lets just pretend that we are okay and we have this movie script story
For this song, I'm picturing a guy and girl who both feel like their relationship is dying and they are probably going to break up soon. But they planned a special event with a lot of people, maybe a family celebration, and he doesn't want to show that anything is wrong. So he is asking her to fake a smile and pose for the family pictures. Then maybe he's hoping that they might grow closer again
