the band had a running contest where the person who stayed awake the longest won a chance to write a song for them to record. the winner was a little girl named Marianne Cress. however, it was found that in order to win, she tracked down the three remaining contestants and killed them with an ice cream scoop. her song was trashed, and this one was written to replace it. this one is about how people are unfair in politics, and how war is corrupt and all that. Marianne was never found. a movie is in the works.

This could possibly mean that the band is moving on without Craig, and they are happy with Beau as his replacement. I think Beau is singing in two perspectives. One being that he is speaking on behalf of the band, saying that they are now united and will stick together, breaking away from the old blessthefall and move on successfully. Two is that Beau is the loyal, new, singer. He is here to do his thing and be faithfully successful!
