Yes or from my experience, the person who picks. You up when you feel down. The one who means so much to you, the one you maybe even love... they are your best friend one minute then the next they leave you. Pretend your not there anymore, because they have found somebody else. Leaving us to cope on. Our own with no one to hold us up. To me, this song is about an ex you just kept going back to whenever they asked [or begged]. It's a beautifully sung, beautifully worded song about something sad. But good for her for realizing what was going on! I think this song could be a continuation of "White Horse," or at the least it's about the same boy. This song always makes me cry because I can relate to it so well. My ex tells me he loves me, then ignores me and treats me like crap, and then apologizes and says he wants to be with me, then he says he loves me...blah,blah the cycle never ends. It took me forever but I eventually did figure him out. He doesn't actually care, he just knows he's got you wrapped around his finger and you'll always forgive him, that way he'll always have someone. It's taking advantage of a girl's feelings and sometimes, you just have to cut him out for good, because you could do so much better.
