I would definitely say this song is a Christian song. The first stanza is about God being faithful, the second one is missing but it's about the writer being faithful. The third is about Jesus dying on a cross, and the fourth is about, well, that part I'm not one hundred percent sure on, but the last part of it is about maintaining faith.
second stanza looks like it's mixed with the 4th. 2nd is:

I can see why you think this because Christian music in hardcore music is becoming a big thing right now which is also leading to more and more misconceptions on other songs. I am pretty sure a lot of these lyrics are a play on words about a 19th century mapmaker (Pauley). The previous album was about regrets, love, hate, happiness and forgiveness (Paterson).
