what he probably meant by "I will await for you to follow to the other side" it he'll wait for his girl to join him, not sayin he wants her to. i like this song. it's nice when singers talk about death
To me this song is about how he is scared to die...scared of the afterlife...
i agree mostly, though with the line "I will await for you to follow to the other side " it sounds like it could be he could hate or be scared to die and wait for her
