I think this song is about looking back on a relationship after its over, "This is how it begins, So simple but it ends so wrong" You think about how happy things were in the very begining, "Sunshine fires her first shot, And I like that feeling a lot, Tends to make me smile" Then when its all over and your done with thoughs memories your left thinking god I wish I had them back, "Do you feel the same way too? I've been thinking a lot about you, And I'd love to know" You think if they were back everything would be perfect again, back to the way things were. "And it's dark in my head, Could you send some light my way?" And the thought of your ex moving on and being with someone else is cripeling at first, the thought hurst so much you can't breath, and you want to move on before them, yout nervous that they will beat you too it, "My mind wanders,I get nervous 'bout the one I love"
