My Head Lyrics

my head
what you've been doing to my head
i want you to do everything instead
and all that we have to say
i want you to do it instead

teenage lust is just a phantom limb
taking us back to to where we've never been

my head
what you've been doing to my head
i want to do everything instead
i want you to never say
i want you to to to stay

i need more money cause i need more drugs

I think it's "teenage lust is just a phantom now, taking us back to where we've been", in reference to the song Teenage Lust off of Paisley Reich sort of.

Take it up with the lyric sheet. I transcribed it as the record liner had it. I think its more a continuation of the FEELING of teenage lust than the song itself. I also don't think the meaning changed much between "limb" and "now" anyway.

phantom limb is a way cooler lyric anyways

Good song. I agree about Phantom limb, definitely tighter than phantom now. Also, for a while I thought it was "need more body cause I need more drugs". Oddly, this made perfect sense to me. Pretty clear now that they are saying "Need more money..." and probably makes more sense too.
