Long Night Dreaming Lyrics

I am so primitive, and I am so limited
I've been restricted to the terms of breaking my heart
I'm such an idiot when I'm falling into it
I am addicted to the terms of falling apart

You can be so sure, and you can be so sure
I can be so insecure, yeah
You can shine like gold but I can't stay awake
I guess I'm in for another long night of dreaming

I am predictable, but I can be so loveable
I am invisible in the world of a woman like you
You are incredible and so beautiful
So unattainable in the world where I could never break through, yeah

You can be so sure, you can be so sure
And I can be so insecure, yeah
You can shine like gold, but I can't stay awake
I guess I'm in for another long night of dreaming

All I ever wanted was a moment with you
But all I ever leave with is a long night of dreaming
And all you ever wanted was the moment of truth
But all you ever leave with is a long night of dreaming

I don't have anything but I would give you everything
And do every little thing
Just so I could do it all again
You are incredible and so goddamn beautiful
So bright and colorful, paint a smile on girl and color me in

You can be so sure, you can be so sure
And I can be so insecure, yeah
You can shine like gold, but I can't stay awake
I guess I'm in for another long night of dreaming (x2)

Cover art for Long Night Dreaming lyrics by Crash Parallel

The lead singer, Tim, wrote this song after seeing a girl he thought was beautiful. He never actually talked to her, he just seen her and decided to write a song about her, and how he will just spend a long night dreaming about her.

This song describes my life pretty damn well right now. I doesn't really affect me what Tim meant writing this, I interpret it my own way.
