this song is great :) i picked their first cd up on accident and fell in love with the band, now that drunk like bible times is out i'm super excited!
what a gorgeous piece of songwriting! i am truly moved.
when people don't know themselves well, they just kinda hang out and do whatever they feel like. why take yourself so seriously when you aren't completely sure who you are as a person? 'mixed up meditations.' 'your thoughts still bring flowers for my brain.' just weird thoughts that make you happy. just hanging out and talking about whatever and being weird and that's what makes you happy. i don't think it means to actually treat someone like they're a joke or make a joke out of their life.
