I don't see how not a single one of these songs has a comment. The entire album is just so amazing! I love it. This is my favorite song, and I've never thought much on what it meant, but if I had to guess, the thing that is spilling would be the conflict of the world. Basically he's asking for peace, and then asks, "If everything doesn't go well, will the conflict consume us all?"

Born in the Flood has a really hard to understand meaning in their lyrics, but nonetheless a sweet sound.
