Are you all right? You're making me nervous with how much you leave me here. Is it a sign? I don't feel like ever getting well - Tell me the lie, you're taking your time over and over [2x]
My closest friends live on the side of where you now divide. Is it a sign if I don't feel like ever getting well - Tell me the lie, you're taking your time over and over [2x]

I think it's about some bad situation happened in relationship, she thinks he screwed up something and she is giving him now totally cold shoulder. He's arguing all this. He questions about 'the lie'(asserting) like he doesn't feel guilty of nothing. In the whole context he's begging forgiveness someway, he calls her back, he believes in dialogue, and he wants her back at his side.
I can't believe people haven't commented yet. This song is brilliant. Brilliantly beautiful.

He wants to know if she is going to be alright Ultimately if (they) are going to be alright He’s afraid by her silence and fears she will leave him He is so upset at the prospect of her leaving, he knows it will happen And he’s wallowing in his misery He wants her to say she loves him, even if it’s not true Their friends have sided with her He thinks maybe he is in the wrong He is so distraught and doesn’t even want to attempt to function without her He wants her to say she loves him, even if it’s not true They’re going to break up He wants her to start the discussion He’s nervous she’s going to say what he thinks she is He is so upset about it, he knows it will happen and he’s in agony at that prospect He wants her to say she loves him, but he knows she won’t
