Fear Before Doesn't Listen to People Who Don't Like Them Lyrics
The Earth,
It spins. It shakes.
It spits you out.
It knows your name.
You were there for me every time we breathe
I know the best things in life are free.
You and me were having a drink and sharing a smoke.
Magic is magic, 'til you know it's a trick.
You cannot trade, you cannot trade it back.
The Earth,
It spins. It shakes.
It spits you out.
It knows your name.
Everything I have ever done wrong somehow would mount to this,
What I'm feeling in my chest, the burning fire of my fear of death.
I watched the lightning in the sky.
I couldn't take my mind off the afterlife
As music filled the air.
It hit me like a heart attack...
It spins. It shakes.
It spits you out.
It knows your name.
I know the best things in life are free.
You and me were having a drink and sharing a smoke.
You cannot trade, you cannot trade it back.
It spins. It shakes.
It spits you out.
It knows your name.
What I'm feeling in my chest, the burning fire of my fear of death.
I couldn't take my mind off the afterlife
As music filled the air.

boring for you. awesome for me.
I love how fear before doesn't linger their lyrics to broken relationships like others. these lyrics are a mirror to what consumes my thoughts. LOVE it.
what does dave say in the distorted voice at the end of the song? anyone know?
i'm pumped
Not sure but could one line read:
Everything I have ever done wrong somehow would mount to this,
As for Dave at the end, can't make out much. Possibly this is part of the beginning:
They hear me like a heart attack And you don't have to care about it book by book
I think I'm terribly wrong however :|
I really want to know what Dave is saying also, I can only make out..... "They hear me like a heart attack, And you don't have to care about it (?) (?) you imagine how (?)...????
I heard "It hit me like a heart attack" when they played this song last night in Richmond.
Hope the other songs on the new album is better than this crap.
i heard "it hit me like a heart attack" in douglasville
Yellowbird1 you got the first part right
Everything I have ever done wrong somehow would mount to this. What I'm feeling in my chest, the burning fire of my fear of death.
i definitely like this song it takes a while but it does grow on you fear before's lyrics are getting alot deeper it seems like these guys are starting to really think about some shit especially their own mortalility. This song to me is about Why humans need religion (the "magic is magic" line is what im referring too) and how funny and strange of a thing life is, and especially death.
