How Could I Know Lyrics
Wanted to see your holy vow
Wanted to see the air come out
Dirty thought occurred to me then
Could have had 'em if I wanted
But all I could think of was last summer
And your wonderful smile
Should've known bettter, all those old letters
Always wanted to read
Would've been nice
If my old devices would've
Just let me be
How could I know?
See you riding home
Your nicotine filled smile
Lay that down and roll with me now
Air goes in and sound comes out now
And all I can think of is last summer
And the one before that
Should've known better
All those letters
I always wanted to read
Would've been nice if my
Old devices would've
Just let me be
How could I know?
Wanted to see the air come out
Dirty thought occurred to me then
Could have had 'em if I wanted
But all I could think of was last summer
And your wonderful smile
Always wanted to read
Would've been nice
If my old devices would've
Just let me be
See you riding home
Your nicotine filled smile
Lay that down and roll with me now
Air goes in and sound comes out now
And all I can think of is last summer
And the one before that
Should've known better
All those letters
I always wanted to read
Would've been nice if my
Old devices would've
Just let me be

I think it's about a guy who goes to see his ex-girlfriend get married -- "her holy vows"
"Dirty thought occurred to me, could have had 'em if I wanted" (he could have married her if we wanted to)
"How Could I know" (I'm guessing this is an exclamation of his regret -- how could I know that she was going to end up with someone else or how could I know that I wasn't going to be able to stop thinking about her. He regrets letting her go.)
Defiantly about love, in some vein. Maybe about lost love, seeing as all he could think about is "last summer"?
