Underground Lyrics

Give us a song but don't live what you sing
Say what you mean but please don't mean a thing
I think I might wander underground
I think I might wander underground

They heard fifteen seconds and that was enough
The idea was new but the business was tough
I think I might wander underground
I think I might wander underground

I go to my lover we lay on our bed
Did I sell my heart for the dreams in my head
I think I might wander underground
I think I might wander underground

I'm guessing it's about how two-faced the big business of music can be.

@dan1102180 For sure, and nice and simply stated lyrically. I'm most curious about use of heart instead of soul. It's common to say selling your soul for something you want, going against your values to get it. Giving up your heart to attain something you want, or giving your heart to someone just to get something else you want? Giving up the person you love (or getting a person you don't love) to chase your dreams? While he is lying in bed with his lover, like that lover is not the one he he really loves? I've never been good...
