I'm not sure but I think this man critisizes the girl for everything she did and is a it over protected over her, and in this song shes summing up all her feelings and walking out on him and saying theres nothing he can do etc and in the chorus shes finally get her chance to have the last word that she never previously could get.

it is when a person loves the other person the most but know she realizes he just hurted her and gave her pain. He brought her down and she is tired of it, so now she will have the final say and she will let go. she doesnt want to talk about it anymore so shell leave.

Oh yes, a breakup is about to happen and the girl is hurt by the boy because of the things he's done behind her back. She considers him as a model but gets news (from a few of her friends) of what he does when she's away (either addiction or unfaithfulness, or both).

I've lived a similar situation with a man during the last 2 years of our relationship. He was either a musician, an artistic director, a songwriter and an arranger and he was very busy because of that - I wished he were a model for me but... I suspected him of unfaithfulness (outside of professional reasons) but I wasn't really sure, until I called in a detective. The latter confirmed my doubts and so... The song could express my feelings for my man, too late for him to say he was sorry. BTW I must say alcoholism also ruined our couple, but I really noticed it a few years after we broke up (he got married in the meantime).

I actually like the remix version better. It's more fun. It's like the old pop songs. In the remix version, at the end of the song, they suddenly start singin "I will survive". Their styles are similar, so I think itz a good combination.
