not totally sure but it seems like its about how he has finally found love. the opening verse kind of seems like, he knows this girl who is way too good for him and he is broken and lost and he really wants the girl. and then the chorus, "is this really happening the sun's finally shinning down on me" says like finally he has found love and they are together and brighter days are ahead of him. the snow melting part is maybe like a reference to him being cold and alone for so long? not sure but that's what i make of this song. one of my favorites off the album, and I can relate to this song (in my interpretation of it) in so many ways
