Well, I believe these lyrics are about becoming your own natural identity. At first we grow up in a situation were parents tell us what to do and what not. Later school defines what's good and what's bad and so will society, our partner and so on. But if you for some reason don't trust these instances because there is a shadow of a doubt, you can only trust what's inside you, your own values your desires, drive etc. You will become a "descendant of your own Madness" Drive, values and whatever are always rooted in the subconscious, therefore the line: "Just so happens to be right beneath me."
