Redefining Automation Lyrics
I will scream at the sky:
"Do I even believe in being born again?"
I will purge the insides
Of everything I thought I knew back then
When living was everything and death was the only thing that lasted.
Now our lives are governed by the tides
Let the swells rise and wash us all away
I sold my soul for a little bit of certainty
Then I spent it all buying into your beliefs
I see a sea of chaos and you're sinking like a stone
While I'm swimming for the shore
Why send in men to do god’s work? Are our egos the size of cathedrals?
I sold my soul for a little bit of certainty
Then I spent it all buying into your beliefs
All I've come to know is lost
and all I've come to lose I've found
All I've come to know is lost
and all I've come to lose I've found
I sold my soul for a little bit of certainty
Then I spent it all buying into your beliefs
And I wonder
What it’s worth to breathe,
What it’s worth to think free
Prevailing static can not possibly prevail(x4)
Allow me to introduce you to all the things
That are going to change you and save you

this song is super anti religious thats just about all thier is to it
I don't think it's anti-religious. In fact, I think In:Aviate's lyricist must be a Christian or has been a Christian, as many of the band's songs have some definite references to Christianity.
Having said that, I'm not entirely sure what the actual meaning of the song is, but it just doesn't seem to be anti-religous to me.
Song has nothing to do with religion. If you've ever read 1984, the song is about realizing that everything that you were taught to believe is wrong, and it's time to find what is true for you.
The song has nothing to do with religion? Right...That explains why there are key words/phrases like: Born again, God's work, cathedrals, believe, sold my soul, save you...not religous at all. Unless you are making the point that Christianity is more like a relationship than a religion.....then i'm with you. Still has to be God based, though
idk, i could care less about religion. this song is beast, and the high pitch singing is beautful (:
i loveee this band. kinda reminds me of a skylit drive and dance gavin dance? i dunno
So if you could care less, that means you do care about religion?

Does anybody else see the illuminati reference? Especially considering the album art.
