Better Than Life Lyrics

We need to feel what it's like
To go through the good times,
So that we can, we can feel the pain.

You need to know what it's like
To make sense sometimes,
So that you know, know
that you're insane.

I just leave it to the powers that be,
And a lightning bolt cripples me
for coming to your rescue,
But i can't feel the pain

It's better than life,
Ultimate desire
It's better than life,
It's like a wet dream
With You.

We need to know what it's like,
To make love sometimes
I'm a virgin, and so are you.

Passed my test I'm on the road
Rubber neckers going slow,
Just to get a little glimpse of it

When the sun shines out your ass
I slip into the shadows
and hope nobody asks
Where I am leaving to

It's better than life,
Ultimate desire
It's better than life,
It's like a wet dream
With You.

I posted the correct lyrics from the booklet, so hopefully they'll be up soon. It's actually "It's like a wet dream with you" I have no idea what the song is about.

I assume, however, that a wet dream WITH someone, would just be a complicated way of saying sex? And then with "We need to know what it's like, To make love sometimes I'm a virgin, and so are you." he's saying to his girl that he thinks he's ready to take it to that level, trying to convince her? The rest of the song doesn't seem to add up though.

one of my friends recently used the term "v-plates" referring to his virginity. So I'm pretty sure the lyrics "Passed my test I'm on the road" are actually trying to say "LOL GUYS IM HAVING SEX HAR HAR"

"Rubber neckers going slow," reference perhaps to condoms.

Pretty sure the song is talking about 2 people losing their virginity.

wait reread the lyrics, could also be about rape.

These lyrics truly are what the book says, but even it got a part wrong. it is definitely "Where are you leaving to?" Not "Where I am leaving to" It's very odd to see this error in the book from the album itself, but generally I always hear lyrics in the books of albums aren't written by the band itself.

i tried my best to get down the fast parts....

i think the second fast part goes...

"when the sunshine touch your lips i slip into the shadow and why nobody asked where are you leaving to? where are you leaving to?"

goood song. i love this band. their gunna be big.
