A Call To Arms Lyrics
I swear, I can't stand this place
and whats becoming of me
the longer i have to stay.
I want to
think all unthinkable things
and say what I shouldnt say
I need a change
With that said, I'm leaving today
I got some concrete ideas and they've been paving my way
towards all the
downtowns and urban decay
theres so much life in these bricks
theres so much buildings can say
a new experienced me
we'll be coming back on rusted wheels and bloody knees
a call to arms
from server to soldiers
whose got no one to count on
faceless and scarred
we don't know where we're going
we forgot where we came from
i thought that there was blood left in this stone
turns out that i was wrong
i hope to find a place that feels like home
with a heightened sense of strength
and the strongest sense of sound
a new experienced me
we'll be coming back on rusted wheels and bloody knees
a call to arms
from server to soldiers
whose got no one to count on
faceless and scarred
we don't know where we're going
we forgot where we came from
a new experienced me (a new experienced me)
we'll be coming back on rusted wheels and bloody knees
a call to arms
from server to soldiers
whose got no one to count on
faceless and scarred
we don't know where we're going
we forgot where we came from

amazing song, such an underrated band
I'm relatively sure it's "suburban soldiers who've got no one to count on" in the chorus.
it is suburban soldiers. oh and hi carly it's christina!
Yeah some of the lyrics are wrong here.. But still. Love this song, one of my favorites off the album.
it's "Rusted limbs and bloody knees" and a n1njadrum said, "surban soldiers who've got no one to count on"
no it's not. it's "rusted wheels"
no it's not. it's "rusted wheels"
this song is so fun to hear live :]
Sounds like it's about people using the army so that they can go to college and have a future.
Some lyrics are wrong, but it seems like he's talking about leaving a state of being(or a physical place) that is wearing him down. He leaves to become stronger and more experienced so that he can return and face whatever state of being or place he is talking about. Super catchy song and the solo is face-melting(:
