Play It For Today Lyrics
Tell me what you need
Now that I can breath
All the things unsaid
They are in my head
And I've been getting old
Play it for today
Caught by tomorrow
I'll be whatever I will be
Tell me what you need
Now that I can see
All the things I've read
They have left my head
And I'm still getting on
As your falling through thin air
I'm still by the stairs
Get your way I'll go ine
It's all coming down
Now that I can breath
All the things unsaid
They are in my head
And I've been getting old
Caught by tomorrow
I'll be whatever I will be
Now that I can see
All the things I've read
They have left my head
And I'm still getting on
I'm still by the stairs
Get your way I'll go ine
It's all coming down

I love LOVE this song. I think it has to do with a person who has finally grown up in a sense and now has a better understanding of things. He meets/encounters someone from his past that he had a relationship with --maybe?-- and he wants to explore what life really is.
The last section, I'm not so sure about. it could be a reference to dying or the whole song could mean that he experienced death, and finally life makes sense to him.
