Keren Ann sings so beautifully and so sadly about Israel / Palestine. This song captures the humanity of the people who are inexorably affected by / part of / entangled with the conflict. It makes me reflect on how none of them can change what is happening. All of this was set in motion by others a long time ago. It seems to me a very personal and honest song. I always come back to it.
