Villa Del Refugio

Can't even explain what the song means to me... It stands out amongst the thousands of songs I've heard and felt impacted by in my life time. It is one of the most simple, yet one of the most complex. I doubt the members of TWDY intended to produce such an emotional and deeply touching song, but they did. This seven minute track seems to be my life. That's the best way I can put it. I can turn it on and close my eyes, and I can re-live my life. sad moments, happy moments, somber moments... Anything. My mind takes me to a place in my life that I miss, that I loved, that I regret... The structure of this song was composed to correlate with my emotional structure. The more it progresses, the more memories I feel like I can re-live. I probably sound like some freak of nature but I'm just a normal dude. I've loved and lost, I've gone through rough times and amazing times, and this piece seems to be able to capture and make me re-feel all the emotion I had felt during each of those experiences.

This one is bizarre for me personally...

The only way i can describe it, is that it's almost like i heard this song when i was very young...like on a tv prog in the background when i was 5 or 6 or something, as it's got a very familiar "deja vu" feeling that i felt from the 1st time i heard it, and i almost had to stop listening to it for a while as everytime i listened it would do my head in as i couldn't place where the hell i heard this before or why it felt so familiar! Never had that with a song / tune...ever. Well odd!
