You say that music is a person or group of people using their talents to create a song that expresses themself--who they are, where they've been, where they're going, etc., etc. <br /> <br /> So tell me something--how does this song lack talent? It has a very good message, the flow and rhyme are nice, and I could go on. It's an amazing song. Also, since you want to call them 'hypocrites' I'd like to refer to another of their songs--Undead, I believe, where they call out people exactly like you with the lyrics:<br /> <br /> "What? As M4v3r1ck explained to you earlier, in their song Undead one of the lines is: <br /> "What? Can't you see the SARCASM in the verses I spit?" <br /> They have explained in many interviews that the whole purpose of their band is to show the other side of Hollywood, the side that no one else sees, the side that isn't the glitzy, glamorous home of everyone famous. The songs that are about sex, drugs, violence etc are simply describing that aspect of Hollywood and what makes the world the way it is at the moment, they are all the same as young but from a different point of view. The Song Undead was their first single, and artists usually want their first single to act as a demonstration of the rest of their music. Undead is about the different aspects of Hollywood as well as a bit about their struggle to get their music out there. Nothing else. <br /> There are some songs of course such as Christmas in Hollywood that do seem to be about fucking EVERYTHING as you mentioned. But they're just taking the piss. That's the kind of people they are and you can't base your argument on just one song. Because I'm sure that's the one you're referring to. The song Bitches doesn't fit into this category because that's just about sex with a certain "hoe" and nothing else. And sex isn't what's making this world the way it is.
