We Don't Take Hits, We Write Them Lyrics

And you lock the house to keep your secret from coming out
I wont, No. I'm sorry because you're old news

And my life is holding our heads to this gun
You and your new boy think you can come in and keep me off, but you're wrong

I find myself on the street out in front of your house, you can kiss safe thoughts goodbye.
I'm coming up to break your heart.
You're sleeping with the light on like you're dying to be found out.

I find myself on the street out in front of your house, you can kiss safe thoughts goodbye.
I'm coming up to break your heart.
You're sleeping with the light on like you're dying to be found out.

(And you lock the house)
And you lock the house
oh,oh,oh,oh,oh
And you lock the house
And you lock the house
oh,oh,oh,oh,oh,oh

I really love this song. At first I didn't, but it grew on me. You can download it on Limewire, I just did.

You fucking idiot. Obviously he isn't saying this with a big head.

You have to take into account that this song was written back in 2004, so obviously this was before they 'sold out' though they clearly did not. Selling out would be doing what everyone else wanted them to do, which would have been writing 3 more TTTYGs. Who the hell wants that? That's nothing. That's not progression, that's stagnation.

In my opinion this song is about someone who is wanting him/them to change for their benefit or to do what they want to do but they're basically saying "No, fuck you, we're going to do what we want and you're going to be sorry that you ever left because we wouldn't listen." But that's just me. I really wish they'd record a studio version of this.

fucking sell outs. they are proably the worst case of sell out i have ever seen. how embarrassing - on their part and the ex fans, and theirs. heaps of people are way embarrassed to say they used to listen to them (myself included) and them, they must feel so embarrassed when they hear the likes of 'this aint a scene its an arms race' or whatever, unless the money has blinded them so much that they just don't care. i think the latter is the most probable :)

someone needs a life....

Gee, thanks for wasting both your time and ours.

hey, man. real quick.

bands change, because the same sound can't stay the same. people change. everything changes.

get off songmeanings on a band you don't even like anymore on a song that is a demo that isn't even released, and go fuck yourself.

shit.
