they've really cleaned up their sound, and this is a powerful song that is fun to sing to and has some meaningful lyrics behind it. inspirational.
he's been through a lot, and this is kind of a testament to all of that. really awesome song and these guys are amazing, go see their shows if you can!

Shane has been through a lot. but this song to me is about the acceptance of what has happend. things happen for a reason, and he is understanding that she went home. seeing them tomorrow!!! cant wait!

song's pretty much about shane accepting what happened in his past and coming to terms about it. lovely song if i do say so myself.
Although this song i think is about the death of his love and coming to terms with it, i also think it's a sort of remembrance to those who have fallen through suicide, and how hoping wasn't enough for them. A shame they couldn't find the strength. The 2nd verse especially refelcts that.

whenever i hear that i think how everyone is usually never satisfied with what we have.. we always need more and more and more and more. sometimes you have to look at what you HAVE, never know maybe you wont feel so shitty
