Look No Further Lyrics
I might have been a singer
who sailed around the world
a gambler who wins millions
and spent it all on girls
I might have been a poet
who walked upon the moon
a scientist who would tell the world
I discovered something new
I might have loved a king
been the one to enter war
a criminal who drinks champagne
and never could be caught
but among your books
among your clothes
among the noise and fuss
I've let it go
I can't stop and catch my breath
and look no further, for happiness
and I will not turn again
cause my heart, has found it's home
everyone I'll never meet
and the friends I wont now make
the adventures that they could have been
and the risks I'll never take
but among your books
among your clothes
among your noise and fuss
I've let it go
I can't stop and catch my breath
and look no further, for happiness
and I will not turn again
cause my heart, has found it's home
who sailed around the world
and spent it all on girls
who walked upon the moon
I discovered something new
been the one to enter war
and never could be caught
among your clothes
among the noise and fuss
I've let it go
and look no further, for happiness
and I will not turn again
cause my heart, has found it's home
and the friends I wont now make
the adventures that they could have been
and the risks I'll never take
among your clothes
among your noise and fuss
I've let it go
and look no further, for happiness
and I will not turn again
cause my heart, has found it's home

The one to end a war, not enter war.
This song is just stunning.
what a great love song the song is about finding the one, and being all she needs, she doesn't need anymore adventures or new people, she has all she needs in her other half
brilliant!
i can't hold my trears when i hear this song dido have such a lovely voice ... she is finally back ... ( , )
One of my favourites on the album, along with Northern Skies and It Comes and It Goes. And it is: "I might have loved a king been the to end a war" + "I can stop and catch my breath"
I love the song anyway.
I am amazed that no one has offered an interpretation yet... I think this song may be about motherhood and/or the love of your life.
"Contentment," that is the one word that best explains this song. Dido's lyrics reveals she is in a state of satisfaction as she has found contentment so as not to look any further for happiness. We spend our life searching for happiness, money, love, acceptance and more. And sometimes we don't get what we actually want. Contentment will make you find your inner peace, your true happiness, Dido calls it your "home."
woot Dido is finally back with new material :)
i think its "I will not talk again" not turn.
I actually think she says "I CAN stop and catch my breath", like she's done with the pursue of happyness and she can finally stop and settle down to her "home"...it makes more sense to me
