its amazing how far music can come.. 24 years after it released and its one of the most heartfelt songs ive heard
New York down to Mexico Seattle to the Oklahoma You ghost will always haunt my soul Dallas up to Baltimore I will follow you home I will follow where ever you go California to Japan Los Angeles to Birmingham I’ll be wide awake at 4am Dallas up to Michigan I will follow you home I will follow where ever you go I will follow you home I will follow where ever you go, yeah I’m no, not no I’m not telling you lies I’m not telling you this so that you’ll be surprised I’m just telling you this to get it off my chest It’s the only way that I’ve learned to survive It’s the only thing that seems to keep my mind straight My best self defense against pain and heart ache The life that I live the choices I make Its the promise I made to myself I won’t break I will follow you home I will follow where ever you go I will follow you home I will follow where ever you go, yeah

This song is def a twin to "Unfair" (a song she has been quoted as saying is about falling in love with someone who is already in a relationship) so it is presumably about the same person. Given the references to buying an apartment and not being able to see her love interest "after tonight," it's most likely that she's moving away and she'll "wait a day to break the bad news" (i.e. notifying him that she's leaving once she's already gone).
And, of course, the fact that she sees in him a fellow "idealist" and "dreamer" (terms commonly given to people with the INFP personality on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)) portends that she'll always be left wondering if they would've been perfect together.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
I lovee the part when it's like
'I know, I know, I'm not telling you lies, I'm not telling you this so that you'll be surprised, I'm just telling you this to get shit off my chest it's the only way that I have learned to survive. It's the only thing that seems to keep my mind straight, my best self-defense against pain and heartache." It's really cute.
