I think this song is about how a relationship is finnally getting some closure and the girl is finnally ready to move on. "Paybacks such a waste" is basically saying, I'm tired of all the drama so I'm not even going to get back at you for what you did to me.

"One day You will wake up With nothing but “you’re sorrys” And someday You will get back Everything you gave me "

This line really relates to me. It's like saying, one day the guy will realize what a good thing he lost and try to fix it but what goes around comes around and "you'll get back" all the pain you gave me.

I think it's "Looks like a solitude night."

I think that more then a breakup song this is where closure has come. The beginning verse would be the initial breakup. The power going out where they lost the energy or light from their relationship. The second verse sums up the hurt "Been black and blue before" and "There's no need to explain" cause they know why she was hurt. Talking about "Your invisible, invisible to me" and "my wish is coming true erase the memory of your face" is forgetting about forgetting all that happened and the person. The bridge or third verse is where the karma bit comes into play, the realization by the one who threw away the relationship. The chorus is all about getting over it all. "Blow the candles out" from the power going out and the lights being gone, the candles are the hope that the relationship will be fixed. Putting them out is the final closure.

"Looks like a solo tonight" where the realization that they aren't coming back. "I'm beginning to see the light" kind of the morning after the darkness from the relationship ending, getting over all of it. "But I think I'll be all right" where you realize that though it hurt like hell to breakup, you will be alright and that life goes on.

my favorite hey monday song. it's pretty self explanatory though. someone close dissapointed you somehow and you just want to forget about them. i think it's great that basically anyone can relate to it.

This song and 6 Months are my two favorite songs from Hey Monday, but all of their songs are good. I think the song writing is very good, and they write songs that a lot of people can relate to. I can see these guys blowing up within the next year.

Wow, I've litterally just found this band. I'm going to a concert that has them in it and i thought it would be good to know the other artists. HER VOICE IS AMAZING. I would do anything to have a voice like that.
