Another Day Lyrics

I can't be without you,
Though I'm learning that I have to,
And it hurts my heart.
I stare at our picture.
There's no warmth in this frame.
I missed your call another day,
And though the years will pass you so quickly,
I hope you know that I'll be here,
If ever you need me, but...
Its all my fault for bringing on this pain.
I locked my vaults and threw away the keys.
So kill it out of me, so quickly I need you to know,
I didn't plan for this and while you grow,
I want to be there for it.
Please promise me I'll get the chance another day.
Well I've been without you,
And each night it keeps me up wide awake,
A different place I'm only doing what I know how to do.
To best provide for you.
Though I can't spend my time with you

For me this song is about how painful a long distance relatiosnhip can be. You want so badly to be together because you're so in love with the other person, but you begin to understand that it might be easier in the meantime to not be together. So you break up, but despite that, you understand that you're always going to love that person unconditionally and are still going to watch over them as they "grow" and go through life. It's hopeful though, because you're having faith in the idea that you'll be together eventually, "another day", somewhere down the line.<3

well obviously to me its about him touring to "do only wat he knows to do" to provide for 'i'm guess' his family or like his children... probably touring screwed up his family.. is it tru dat dis band already broke up earlier this year right after their new cd????? well... love the line "there's no warmth in this frame" like whoa dude thought out nicely...
