D-I-E 4 Y-O-U Lyrics
I’d take a bullet for you
Bleed all my blood out for you
Be taken hostage
Under time knife’s edge
Pay all the ransom for you
Do the hard time for you
On the front lines for you
Bring the pain
The ball and chain
Be executed for you
I’ll cover for you
Take a hit
I’m your alibi
I got your back
I’m living every day just to die
Every day I die for you
Throw me in the fire
I’d walk right through
I made a promise
It’s an I-O-U
I’d D-I-E for Y-O-U
I’d D-I-E for Y-O-U
You know I’d D-I-E for Y-O-U
You know I’d die for you
Die, D-I-E for you
You know I’d D-I-E
I'd die for you
Give me your paranoia
I’ll walk the plank for you
Sous la guillotine
Jusou’ a la fin
Willing to suffer for you
Interrogate me for you
Accept my fate for you
Put me in a noose
Turn the dogs loose
Take all the hatred for you
I’ll cover for you
Take a hit
I’m your alibi
I got your back
I’m living every day just to die
Every day I die for you
Throw me in the fire
I’d walk right through

The only thing i dont like about this band is that a lot of their songs are what i call "half & half" Could be about God or about a girl... I think either be a christian band or not. Dont sit on the fence...
I agree. This band is really talented and fun, but it really gets me that they're so obscure about who some of their songs are directed to. SoulGloActiv8r should pull a Stevie-Wonder-stunt and scream in the middle of his song, "I love you Jesus!"

Those of you who watched S.W.'s American Idol performance know what I'm talking about.

I definately see what you mean. I love FF5 and other christen bands but I think some songs need that something that tells me if their writing the song about a girl or God. Don't get me wrong, I think some bands and some songs write better music that the listener must interpret the meaning to, like Escape the Fate and sometimes even Mayday Parade. But this band is not one of those. I still love you, FF5!!!

I'll 4th that :P Yea, I totally agree. That frustrates me because it seems that as soon as you step away from Casting Crowns and Third Day sort of stuff and move towards more rock, pumping, funky music, almost all the bands seem to have the same problem. Relient K, Switchfoot, etc. come to mind. It's like, well if you're going to write a song about salvation or how you relate to God, etc. (the point being to communicate that to someone), then it's not quite working when non-Christians can then pick up the lyrics and mistake it for either a...

It's like, well if you're going to write a song about salvation or how you relate to God, etc. (the point being to communicate that to someone), then it's not quite working when non-Christians can then pick up the lyrics and mistake it for either a romance, a car, emo-kinda-stuff (with some other bands), or something else. It kind of defies the point... The only song I can think of by Relient K that is unmistakeably and specifically about God and Jesus is Deathbed... (which is awesome :D).
And then since I'm so used to it being so subtle and indirect, when I listen to bands with more direct lyrics like Stellar Kart I feel like flinching when they mention Jesus... (and then I want to flinch about wanting to flinch... agh!)
However, I have been quite impressed with FF5's lyrics as far as this goes, since they seem to be far less ambiguous about these things than other bands, particularly with songs like Replace Me, for example. And they seem to have much stronger messages too :D
omg... I love this song!!! I think its about God. Cuz this song describes how i feel for him ezactly.
Romans 8:36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
Where you wrote "Sous la guillotine Jusou’ a la fin" It's french.. And the word is actually "Jusqu'a la fin" It means "under the guillotine until the end"
I love how they put the french in it! it was totally creative & it made me happy because I'm learning french!
i'm pretty sure this one's about God...
It might be about God but I was reading their thank-yous and whatnot and Soul Glow said that he would D-I-E forhis son CA$H so it might be about him or that could just be him being clever, lol.
Rocking song by the way. It has a way of getting stuck in my head!
They originally wrote it about them, saying that they would die for Jesus but then they thought it was a bit too bold to say that, so they changed it to it being like, Jesus' point of view about us :D
haha. i read the same thing about ca$h in the thank yous too. :D
yeah, i think what isabelle makes sense. lol.
great song
Yea. So it should be: "Sous la guillotine Jusqu' à la fin"
