"Stop believing you're precious" sounds just like "Stop parading your angles" in Deftones - Elite, and the scream has the same tones.

The reference to Big Lebowski is the idea of the chase, a lot of red herrings. They go all over looking for the money when the whole thing was a setup from the very beginning. It's the dude's viewpoint of being used over and over again.
