Just Wait Lyrics
One more day and it's all the same.
Time is a poison and it's coursing through my veins.
Got somewhere to be and I'll be done if i know where.
The bank is broke and the well is dry.
There's nothing wrong here that refuses to be set right.
I keep pushing forward but the scenery won't change.
All the days that I live, the best is yet to come if I just wait for it.
But time will find a way to run your patience thin.
Praying for some promise that this life can make,
with my youngest years at stake.
My sights are set on the open skies.
?My better days are found to fall before my eyes.?
Fool enough to overlook the beauty of a day.
Still I thirst for my next big thrill,
full of desire but I'm bankrupt of all will.
I can set my blame to many tunes that you can sing.
And you sing, "Oh,
don'tcha know,
don'tcha know,
don'tcha know.
Don'tcha ya know,
don'tcha ya know,
the skies may fall on both the bad and good
so don't hold your breath at all-
slow your sprint into a crawl.
All the days that I live, the best is yet to come if I just wait for it.
But time will find a way to run your patience thin.
Praying for some promise that this life can make,
with my youngest years at stake.
Everything that I love could soon be stripped away
in all the time that it takes to blink your eye.
Everything I hold certain could be swiftly changed,
and every breath in my lungs could be the last one I take.
All the days that I live, the best is yet to come if I just wait for it.
But time will find a way to run your patience thin.
Praying for some promise that this life can make,
with my youngest years at stake.

I'm pretty sure he says...
The bank is broke and the well is dry.
It seems to make a bit more sense too. Otherwise thanks for posting, been looking for accurate lyrics for a while.
This song is definitely the stand out of the six songs on the EP, though I enjoy all six tracks. The lyrics seem to foreshadow a lot of Kindo's writing in the next two albums dealing with life, aging, and the passage of time. (Till We Make Our Ascent, Hold Out, Flowers by the Moon, and Battling the Years stand out among others.) While these later songs seem more focused in their respective messages, this song seems to very effectively represent a conflict in interests. I think this is part of what makes the song so great: we hear a seriously unsure attitude in the words that are sung and I, personally, find it very effective.
On another note, this song continues the pattern in the EP of the pair of accented musical jabs, if you know what I mean. We hear it in the chorus of this song, as each chord is played in two strong and short impulses. A similar effect is achieved in Needle and Thread, and to a certain extent in Hard to Believe. I'm not sure of the significance of this, but it seems interesting to me.
