What DOES their band name mean?
Vincent: We needed a name, we did the whole thumbing-through-the-dictionary thing and I found the word “acacia”. I researched it and found out there was a lot behind it. The strain is the disease the people get from the insects that breed in the acacia trees in Africa. Metaphorically speaking, the name stands for the ugliness in beauty. You see the tree in all of these pictures of Africa and its looks so nice, but as you get closer you can see the bugs moving all over it, breeding.
