everythin said makes sense but it seems to be quite obvious its about drug addiction and struggling to break dependency and relapse....right away he talks about being sown up and tied to a bed being locked up and thrown to the wolves...a frequent technique used to break someone of a chemical depency...lock ya in a room keep ya in bed an ya go through hell depending on how serious the addiction may be...but ya really have no choice but to come down en get through it all...then i believe he's referring going through relapse an being in denial of addiction and dependency...and how you can't really break it until you come to terms with it and realize you have a problem and that it needs to be fixed and that you need help...but thats jus my take nevertheless great song
sick stuff! to me this song could be about someone who is being driven down and is questioning their beliefs & purpose... not too sure though, looking forward to the album release.

I think it is clearly talking about something on the lines of someone grasping onto their faith in God, but this messed up corrupt world attacking it in every way possible, and them loosing slight grip in a sense. but at the end realizing the people attacking are wrong and hold no truth themselves. It describes their hopelessness as: "They just spin in perfect little circles And that’s all they know"

i think i take a more cynical approach to the song. i feel that it's about being tired of people with a "holier than thou" complex. being judged by the ones who are supposed to show love and questioning things because this isn't how it's supposed to be.
holy crap. this song is amazinggg! gah. underoath kicks ass. i think it IS about someone questioning god & wanting to get over it and just know and stay true to what he/she believes in, and thats Jesus. but can't, because people around him attack, and joudge, and criticize. you know. amazing. just a few days before the release!
Wow, this song is now 10x better than it was before now that i know what it means. It relates so much to me! I have a lot of non-christian friends who seem to drag me into darker things, and its really been something I've been struggling with lately.

i think i agree with smoke signals. its someone struggling to find answers and fighting the darkness within "i can't keep clawing at the jaws of hell'. and yet when they look for answers the people who should be helping are just spinning in "perfect little circles" and if he was to just slip away, these oblivious people wouldn't even know...
this song to me means to me that people or the world has shut him up and ridiculed him for being a christian and God isn't there to help him probably because he is testing his faith but he is struggling with what we all do comitting sins then repenting so on and so on. then you see him fighting himself in disbelief.
