I think the 'wicked soul' is 'I could shout' Or something like that. It sounded more of a 'sh' sound.
Yeah, you're probably right! That whole first line was a complete guess, but I felt a need to at least attempt the lyrics to this song as they've not been posted anywhere yet. :(
