[Chorus]
I'm just a little bit caught in the middle
Life is a maze, and love is a riddle
I don't know where to go
Can't do it alone
I've tried, and I don't know why

Slow it down, make it stop
Or else my heart is going to pop
Cause its to much, yeah its a lot
To be something I'm not

I'm a fool, out of love
'Cause I just can't get enough

[Chorus]

I'm just a little girl lost in the moment
I'm so scared but I don't show it
I can't figure it out
It's bringing me down
I know, I've got to let it go

And just enjoy the show

The sun is hot in the sky
Just like a giant spot light
The people follow the signs
And synchronize in time

It's a joke, no body knows
They've got a ticket to that show
Yeah

[Chorus]

I'm just a little girl lost in the moment
I'm so scared but I don't show it
I can't figure it out
It's bringing me down
I know, I've got to let it go

And just enjoy the show

Just enjoy the show

[Chorus]

I'm just a little girl lost in the moment
I'm so scared but I don't show it
I can't figure it out
It's bringing me down
I know, I've got to let it go

And just enjoy the show

Just enjoy the show
Just enjoy the show

I want my money back
I want my money back
I want my money back

Just enjoy the show

I want my money back
I want my money back
I want my money back

Just enjoy the show

This song is so cute! I think she's trying to say that life is often unsettling and hard to figure out, sometimes leaving you overwhelmed. She compares life itself to a show, which I think is really creative. Sometimes you have to let go and enjoy it, even when it isn't so good (I want my money back). Everyone's got tickets to this show, and should make the best of it while it's going on!

It reminds me of the saying "All the worlds a stage, and and all the men and women merely players."

    It's an awesome song

Ok first things first...I think these lyrics are right. The only bit I was unsure of was 'out of luck' because it could be 'out of love' but that didn't seem to fit right.

Meanings pretty simple: Someone who is confused about life and love when growing up. She's telling herself to just relax and enjoy her life instead of trying to understand it I think

Love the song. Caught up in the middle of it all. Bit overwhelmed but in the end, sometimes you just need to enjoy 'the show' even its not all that good right now.

    It makes you smile :)

I think this song is about someone trying to find out who they are in life, but they want to enjoy it as well, and in the end, i dont think they care about whether or not they've found themselves, they're just going to enjoy life anyway!

I think it's about how life can really really hard and upsetting sometimes and even if you hste the way things are turning out and you're trying to change some things in your life that you should stop trying to control them and just let everything unfold by itself therefore you should just sit back and watch and enjoy.

I've had this song on repeat in my head ... It's exactly how I feel. My boyfriend and I just broke up and he just wants to just be friends and well, I feel caught in the middle. I don't want to be his friend, but I can't do life alone. Lately I've just been sitting around, watching my surroundings ... just enjoying the show.

Gorgeous song. It's like she knows life can be hard and she's okay with that. She's just really having a great time. She compares the sun to a spotlight, like she's having fun being on the stage with everyone else in the show.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
