i love this song. it's so sweet. this is just my perspective but.. i think it's about his girlfriend leaving him, and he didn't expect it to happen, and he misses her and wants them to have a future together. it's not really difficult to figure out x] ;D!

I think that this song is about a girl that he has been head over heels for for a very long time, but he never had the guts to say anything to her about it. He's tired of holding all of those feelings inside and he wants her to know. When he says "I have a rain cloud and it's filled with doubt. And I don't want that so I let it out" he's talking about finally telling her. This is just a cute love song about the girl that got away, and how he got her back.
