it's a reimagining. marty writing from the perspective of one of the members of 70k.. 70k are just a graffiti crew based in and around melbourne for the most part
It may seem pretty obvious, to me this song is means the way it seems. The adrenaline rush that a kid who is on the run feels after committing acts of vandalism (ie; graffiti). Pretty simple yeah, but this song does have a lot of meaning when you think through the point of view.
