Badass album opener for an insane face melting album. How tf am i the first person here??? Pioneers of freaking prog tech death metal the legends the goats GORGUTS???? F Yeah this is by far the album that really opened up my musical pathways with other stuff. The blend of technicality and dissonant chords and weird ahhh rythm changes blew my mind a few months ago and still does today. OBSCURAAAHHHH This album was so good the one of the most popular techdeath bands legit named themselves from this.

Ok let me quickly analyize this masterpiece... This song starts of brashly with the main dissonant riff in the whatever weird time singature its in and is in your face. You take in time to consume these unhuman riffs and all of a sudden the roaring of Lemay goes straight into your face. "Clouded by the bliss obscura" this powerful line sets the tone as this song's theme from what i imagine while listening it, is a very spurratic and uncontrolled setting, where undefined things are going insane and it sets sort of this hellish setting except it really depicts it uniquely. The lyrics are full of latin words which sets an old, ancient vibe too. They are also full of contradictions to these craziness and insanity like (Filtrate, shapeless screen unfold Blackness, centre of whiteness). These words at face value dont make any sense but these contradictions add to the jarrring and confusing afect in this terrifying setting.

Overall beauitiflly orchestrated song and probablymy fav song from the album...
