To me, this song is about someone who is too afraid to let their emotions out, someone who is too scared to let people get close. "Some they tell me I'm a fool, a fool who walks this road alone" refers to a person who is alone, without a partner. The song is basically saying if you are all alone because you can't let people get close to you, you need to change before it's too late because life is too short.

i absolutely love this song. i agree with tayarimoto, a lot of people 'go it alone' and i often do that too. i understand a lot of rebelutions music. it really means a lot to me, this song is very awesome and makes me think about life.
