A Bang U Can Trace

In my dream I come upon the sight
of cadets digging in the ground
there's scraping and explosions and they're singing
but my dream is not in sound.
Now I'm spinning, passing windows
each compartment full of minnows golden brown.
Underwater, swimming, breathing h2o
the furniture up on the ceiling
walking with my eyes closed
feelin' all Amie and Julie, elementary school-y
Let's pretend we're on the bus that's taking us to camp...
And once we leave our birthing nest
it makes us into something less
then they tell us we can't go home BELIEVE IT!
And to my old friends: I'll stick my hand out.
I don't know why, to pull me out? Or pass a pill?

when to hold and when to let go!
