This exactly the story of my breakup. The last few lines tear me up every time. This song is about regret. It's about coming to terms that the one you love doesn't love you back. The first song on the album is "Love is the Drug". But the author denies it now, love is not "Just Another High".
I love how the drums come in on this song - Paul Thompson is one of the greatest. A song to brood upon in those dark autumn nights...
