I love this song. I am a 90s grunge girl and this sounds very similar. It seeems like it talks about love, but i take it as a life song. "It tells me to just follow the path, sing along with the music and it's all meant to be. " "I do believe in you".

Just heard this today, possibly my new favorite song! I like that it's almost self referencing...being a song and singing "still believe in this rock and roll" and "pray the music gonna save my soul". Awesome.

i think the song is about living life to the fullest. i also think its about a relationship that is falling apart very fast, but he still believes in the relationship.

The song is about how he is living so fast that he lost someone he loved because of his ignorance to that fact. In the chorus, it sounds like whatever it is that he has lost has turned him to become an alcoholic without him realizing it until he really thinks about it.
I can see some deeper meaning in the chorus though.. in a completely different sense, the chorus is me exactly. Music is my life, and i have had my fair share of screwups and whatnot. I just recently took a step to fix my way of life.. ive slowed way down on my drinking, which i used to every night. I remember getting home and saying f*** it and getting drunk every night. Ive lost my fair share of friends, whether it be to my way of doing things, my beliefs, a disagrement, something i didnt like about them, or something which i have yet to find out. It is about a learning curve that everyone goes through. All of us do, and it may be sooner rather than later for some of us, but carefully looking at each part of the song you can get a deeper and sometimes a more obscure meaning to different parts, vs looking at the enitre song which can bring an entirely different meaning that what you look at in sections.. anyone get where im coming from?
