Frank Morris Lyrics

Seven months in the making,
making only organized crime.
We'll be masterminds if our dreams will reach the shore.
Another turning point in time,
tonight when the lights go out.
Shot gun freedom's what they say I'm about.
What I'm about won't matter
when I walk out the door.

Familiar faces put on dolls,
fashioned raincoats and handmade tools.
When that evening's ending,
I'm still standing tall,
surrounded by these loophole walls.
Any minute I'm beginning, ticking time bomb 'til I run.
Once we're gone,
at the sight of the lights out.
Nightfall shades the sun.
We're put together, said, and done.
Oh, oh, ohh. Oh, oh, oh.

Seven months left,
they're breaking,
breaking all the rules that apply
in this prison label,
unable to abort.
A reputation redefined,
tonight in the darkest hour.
When the three of us go missing,
one is missing out.
Taking little time to a job that needed more.

Familiar faces put on dolls,
fashioned raincoats and handmade tools.
When that evening's ending,
I'm still standing tall,
surrounded by these loophole walls.
Any minute I'm beginning, ticking time bomb 'til I run.
Once we're gone,
at the sight of the lights out,
Nightfall shades the sun.
We're put together, said, and done.
Oh, oh, ohh. Oh, oh, oh.

Lights out now, it's half past nine.
Up the thirty foot corridor, three men climb.
Shouldda been four, but one man's left behind.
Crawl from the rooftop down to the northern end,
through the thickest fog to the water's edge.
For the thrilling ride, to be never seen again.
Whistles blow in the morning at the sight of the break.
Three empty cells with only decoy faces,
of the ones now known to the other side of the bay.
Victims lost and drowned, or so they say.
Only presumed dead, but the deadliest way for you to keep your life is let it seem to slip away.

Familiar faces put on dolls,
fashioned raincoats and handmade tools.
When that evening's ending,
I'm still standing tall,
surrounded by these loophole walls.
From beginning to the ending, ticking time,
I'm on the run.
Now we're gone,
at the sight of the lights out,
Nightfall shades the sun.
We're put together, said, and done.
Oh, oh, ohh. Oh, oh, oh.
Ohhhhh, ohhhh. Ohhhhh, ohhhh.

Once and for all, surrender for the broke down walls.
I can't think that I'm enough for the pleasure of growing old.
We'll move on in a long-lived story that everyone will know.

But the ending's left untold.
But the ending's left untold. (x5)

This is a great song by Capital Lights. Completely tells the whole story of Frank Morris's escape. Why did they write about Frank Morris though, is there any connection or was it just random?

correction:

fashionED raincoats and HANDMADE TOOLS...

only PRESUMED dead, but the deadliest way...

this band sounds neat but every song is about a breaking up with his girlfriend and nothing about God. so much for the christian label

dude, you're so wrong. think about the song names "Miracle Man" = Jesus. "Return" = About the return of christ and the end days. "worth as much as a conterfiet dollar" = about how humanity is worth nothing, and we don't deserve to be saved. Its also about Jesus' death and him saving us from our doom.

And there's this song, which isn't about God, but quite definately isn't about breaking up with his girlfriend. Besides, you don't have to have christian lyrics to be a christian band. Have you heard Family Force Five?
